well, since my post yesterday about the behavior of Cherry, my Cherryegger hen.....guess what! I got my first egg this morning
We are proud parents. Her egg was a beautiful light brown, medium size with a nice firm shell. I guess all the things I learned here paid off, she did good and so have we. We only have 2 hens and we are looking forward to the eggs to come. I have to admit, my wife and I shared the egg at breakfast...........best egg I ever had. This is so much fun and we love our girls. This all was on my bucket list and now it's complete
