It has begun

There looking good Bert :thumbsup

Have you found your self staring at them yet? I do even when nothing is happening with them!!
I just can't help myself at all, it's an addiction!!

no York, not yet.

I just hope I'm there when they start to zip, and can take pics of the chicks leaving their shells. I am very curious which egg holds which type of chicken.

but for now, I will be happy if we just hatch some.

I'm sure with all those eggs you have chance to get plenty of pics :D I tell you once they start zipping and hatching you will be glued ;)

yesterday, after removing the second vent plug, humidity was right around mid 40's

temps steady at 100.

thanks York, I'm hoping so.

I shoot for mid 40's with my humidity too. It works for me and my eggs. When you candle you should be able to go on the air sac size to see if that's too much or too less humidity for you. Not sure if you have seen this chart, it's a good guide ~

so York, if the air sac is too big, needs more humidity? too small and it needs less?

or dyslexic am I, again?
