I just noticed that my easter egger has swollen feet and trouble walking on both feet. For now, he can still walk but ever so often his toes curl up when he's walking and just collapses to the ground. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I would start some poultry vitamins in his water right away. Can you post a picture or two of his legs? There are certain conditions that can cause swelling of the feet, such as gout and mycoplasma synovitis (MS.) Curled toes sounds more like a vitamin B2 deficiency, though. Have you seen any respiratory infections before? You might also check the bottoms of the foot pads for any swelling or dark spots which may be bumblefoot.

I've done some researching and I'm thinking it's actually a vitamin d3 deficiency. However, if it's any type of deficiency should I be surprised that the symptoms seem so sudden? And yes, when he was younger he did have a respiratory infection.
