What Peafowl Breeder Inspires You the Most and Why?

Legg's is one of the places I'm considering. I'm still debating over if I want to try the day olds or get older chicks from elsewhere. I'm comfortable raising little animals, but I have very limited bird experience, and don't want to waste money if I don't know what I'm doing.

I'm willing to drive too. Most the other breeders around me are like 3 ish hours away. Another member has older ones she graciously offered, and I'm definitely thinking about that. Just need my pen built! It's going to be large no matter how many I start with since I anticipate adding as time goes on...
 
@KsKingBee -- I'm in Olathe! I'd really like some pieds or whites, ideally a juvenile trio. I wanted to hand raise my kids, but don't think I can handle the day olds. Can I come visit your place and see them up close and personal?

I have some pretty special whites for breeding genetics, I don't know the sex yet and right now they are wet mudballs so no pics until after it drys out. I also have a lot of IB hens, some split to Cameo, some all IB, and a couple from my Pied, WE, SP pen, I am thinking of a dark pied. I can ship when you are ready.

Sure, after it drys out a bit. We are just 45 miles West of Emporia. Many of mine are quite tame and eat from your hand. I don't have any Pied hens but do have some IB Pied cocks that carry WE and SP. The whites are not quite old enough, or clean enough to tell sex for certain.
