Look ya'll!

 

Frannie, my 23wk Barred Rock laid her first egg just in time for Christmas!

Nice!  Congrats!

Was breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders. Not anymore thanks to a bobcat.

 

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

Yes, I was excited!  It is a very nice egg, very smooth, she did a good job. I just knew someone would lay me an egg for Christmas!
