The chicks seems to me as red sex link chicks, the silver are males and the gold ones are females, the hen green/ gray shanks confuse me, I can not tell .

The hen is a game bird mix and is wheaten in color. Are the chicks hers?

x2

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

I had two "game" eggs from the lady who has this hen. When hatched, one looked like a game bird the other looked like the silver ones above. I was curious what the heck they really were lol

If the chicks are biologically hers, they can't be sex linked. She's gold, not silver, so no sex linkage.

I agree she looks like a wheaton game hen. Without knowing possible sires, it's impossible to say what the babies are at this stage.
