My no feed waste simple pan design

I purchased the bottom metal pan at tractorsupply an attached to 7lb feeder.Feed wont build up under feeder an raise it due to tight wires attached. Drilled 4 holes in top of pan an 4 holes in top of feeder attached wires.

:goodpost:There are a lot of no waste feeder designs.  YOURS IS A SIMPLE, FAST, PRACTICAL, AND INEXPENSIVE  SOLUTION.

Good solution!

Deeper pan should definitely help......but I would remove added pan and clean out once in a while.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!
