How big is he? If a Broad Breasted turkey is not restricted in feeding, they will get obese and have heart and leg problems. Check his feet for bumble foot, and his legs for swelling. Can you upload a picture of him?

I feed him with the rest of the flock of mine. Which consists of about 100 birds from chickens, geese, guineas, ducks, peacocks, andmy other turkies twice a day.. so he doesnt free feed all day. He is hudge though.. i will upload a photo tomorrow morning. What is bumblefoot and what does it look like..

His foot looks very swollen... probably from the pressure of all of his weight when standing. I am not sure what to do to stop the swelling, so hopefully someone who does will chime in.

You could try soaking his legs in some Epsom salts. But, and you're not going to like this, the kindest thing would be to butcher him. Like meat chickens, BB turkeys aren't meant to lead a long life. They can live for a while with feed restriction and lots of exercise, but I think you're pretty far past that point.

Sorry. Good luck hugs.gif
