Thank you. My problem is with the amount of chickens I have it's gonna be way more compost than I can use, plus I need to find a way to turn it all. By hand will be an impossible task.
 
I use sweet PDZ and pine shavings in the henhouse on the floor, and sand with leaves in the run...






the brown lump is a piece of peat moss


I bagged up a few bags in the fall, then add half a bag every couple of weeks. In the summer I just use sand in the run.
