What's happening to my chickens eggs?!?!?!?! Please help!!!!!!

I have two Easter egg and one Americana chicken. They've been brooding for months, and now my father found an egg. I can't tell how old the egg is given that it was pushed to the side. So we don't know if it was recently laid or if it was just a missed egg, but I tested it in cold water so it's not bad. But it has strange discoloration!!! I don't know what caused it because they've never laid anything like this before! Please help! Here are pictures of the egg.

Probably just a little hiccup in the egg cycle. Green eggs have a blue eggshell, and have a 'brown' coating applied. Sometimes you can get an unevenly coated egg. Happens all the time with brown layers, and isn't usually an indication of anything serious.
 
Agreed...or it could be coloration picked up from mud or muck in the coop since it was pushed aside. I've had a number of them laid in the yard take on coloration from the clay soil or even in the nest boxes as the hen tracked mud in on her feet, then laid the egg.

x2, I don't think I'd eat it. If I get mucky eggs, I toss them out in the run and let the chickens take care of them or give them to my dogs :)
