I was hoping she/he was a pullet due to the coloring and maybe a pea comb, so she would lay green eggs like her momma. As she grew I had my suspicions.....
The light/dark barring rules only apply to purebred birds. When mixing breeds, the rules kind of go out the window.
And your Easter Egger should have contributed at least one pea combed gene. The Barred Rock would contribute the recessive single comb. The rose comb came from something else.

Thank you for the info! My roo was sold to me as a BR chick, but yeah, he's definitely mixed with something. He's got scant leg feathering.
