Today I walked out to my coop and there lying on the floor was one of my almost full grown Rhode Island reds dead and it looked like the butt was hollowed out, what is killing my babies? Any response will be appreciated thank you.

Are you thinking predator, does it look like it was pecked, cannibalism, are your other chickens bloody, sometimes chickens will die than the others will peck them. There could be a couple of causes, you'll need to look around more to determine where to look.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.
