Pretty! On the bright side, it's April. The snow won't stick around for months and months.

Actually most of it melted within a few hours.....got a bit more overnight, but it'll be gone soon too.

Nice pic Mary.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

ok, proud of myself, I have a broody hen, went down with 10 eggs, pulled her off the nest, saw that there were 5 eggs under her and had a great thought. I should not interfere. So left her with what she had. I have the chicks that are suppose to hatch at school this week spoken for, so that is good.

And this way, I can order some Buck eye eggs.

Awwwwww.......  JUSTIFIER!!  hahahaha!

I have come to the conclusion(mostly)that the hoop coop is going to be needed to growout the cockerels from my 16 chicks....and that I cannot hatch the Marans and LB I wanted to.
