I'm new at this social media thing. Just wanted to say hi. I have been raising birds and rabbits for 3 year's and my friend said I should join.
 
Yes I raise my animals in as safe and free range as possible for my happiness and for food. I have had cancer 3 X when I was younger 17 till 23 and now that I'm married and able to live on a small 5 acer peace of land in buras Louisiana my goal is to be as self sufficient as possible. I'm 38 and I have been planning for years . I'm so happy that it is all coming together nicely. I have pheasants, quail 3 kinds ,chickens , new Zealand white rabbits, and a mixture of duck's.

My biggest problem is I can't keep the duck's out of the pool lol. I have a 1/2 acer pond with an island in the middle they roost there and I haven't lost any in over a year but I can't seem to keep them out of the pool lol. My husband said it's because I think it's so funny I don't run them out every time.
