It has been an oddly warm winter so far, we went from 60 degrees and are now in the 20's or 30's the past 4 days. Most of my girls have grown a majority of their feathers back, but two of them are still fairly bare(a lot of new feather growth). The two that were late molters are 1 year and 10 months old. One is a white rock and the other is a golden comet. Out of the 10 laying hens I have, only 1 of them has begun to lay again.
Is this normal?
The golden comet has been staying in the coop a majority of the time as it is chilly, but my white rock has been venturing out quite a bit and seems to be acting fine.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you for all of your help!
