**Take notice of the beautiful color variation on these bird.** Chick A is in the forground and chick B is I'm the background.
 That dark shade of red on the shoulders/wings is male specific.

 The two in back are male

 Patchy dark red on the shoulders/wings means male

 Both are male
 Chick with dark red on the shoulder/wing towards the middle is male.

Silkies have blue earlobes. Since your chicks are silkie mixes, it makes sense that they would have blue earlobes. Earlobe color deepens as a bird matures.
