OH, I see, LOL then they should know dirty eggs doesn't affect hatching.  I mean they get dirty, you can't really do much about it except to wipe them with a dry paper towel and try to get what you can, you don't ever want to wet it.  Takes off the protective coating.  

 

I read some of the comments to that ebayer and honestly she or he has a really bad attitude.  I mean they get on the defensive side if ANYONE leaves a negative feedback, bad business practice.. personally, I would be thinking twice before buying from them, I mean instead of rectifying the negative feedback, they just immediately insult them and call them a scammer.  As a seller myself, it's just not good business practice.  You want your customers to come back, not chase them away..

I'm hoping to hatch my first eggs with a broody soon, and I have to say that I have found this thread super helpful! There is sooo much information in some of the learning center articles that I found it quite confusing. But the help offered by responders to this thread sums a lot of it up perfectly! Very glad you got the tough little one to hatch. Late bloomer. :)

Lots of information and your right some of it can be confusing.  But we all want aim for the same thing, a success story.. LOL
