I'm sure others here have experience with wing breaks in peas that they will share. Sorry you are having these troubles.

Just from my own experience from when I volunteered at a wildlife rescue, when wild birds came in with breaks at or very close to the joint, they usually had to be euthanized. The reason is that for these birds even if the break healed, it is likely the bird would be unable to fly or unable to fly properly, and would be too vulnerable to predation (and therefore unreleasable into the wild). I would think that this may be the case also with peas, especially as they are large-bodied birds. Your boy may not be able to fly even after his wing heals.
Of course I am not in any way suggesting euthanizing him!!!!! I just wanted to share this information.

Looking at it it might be a little before the joint or on it. I realize he may not be able to fly, but it shouldn't be a huge problem

Make sure he has access to something high in calcium to promote proper bone recovery.
