Could be a neck molt....or other birds are 'grooming' their beards off.

Neck molt?! I didn't even know they did that. They all fully molted this fall/spring. They're on a 20% layer pellet, grit and eggshell.
Yes, some younger birds will have a neck or partial molt.
Usually they don't do a full molt until about 18 months, but younger is not unprecedented.
They fully molted both last fall and this spring?
I'd say it's either you have a face grooming plucker(not unusual with bearded birds) or always good to check for mites/lice.
