How do I trim a crossbeak?

This is Beakers. She has a cross beak and I don't know the best way to trim it. The farm we bought her from said we must trim it, but they never said how. What would be the best way to do so? She can eat, drink, and scratch for bugs just fine, but we want to trim it for her. Thanks.
 
I'd suggest that if she can eat, drink and do regular chicken stuff then I'm not sure there's a good reason to do anything. Maybe others will provide alternative views who have experience with the issue.
