Newly hatched chick, bloody protruding vent?

Need some help quickly- I have a hick hatching on day 23 after the rest hatched healthy on day 21-22. I peeled some shell after he piped through he is active but I can see some blood through the membrane! What should I do?

If you can see veins with blood in them then the chick still needs some time to absorb them. Leave the egg in the incubator for another few hours until the veins are fully receded, make sure the humidity is nice and high also (about 70% if you have a hygrometer to measure it).
Some chicks just take a little longer then others.

This is good to read if you are going to attempt helping it hatch
