Kid goats won't eat hay

This has nothing to do with goats but you might like the story anyway. The mess the kids made reminded me of it. My father-in-law used to be a night custodian at an elementary school. One of the kindergarten teachers had two ducks in the classroom. One day after everyone went home the ducks got out of their pen. The first place they went was the lavatory. The toilets were low to accommodate the small children. Made it easy for the ducks to hop in and out and in and out. Splashed water everywhere as only ducks can. Then they discovered the toilet paper dispenser. They pulled out the small sheets of toilet paper one by one, dropped them onto the floor and mashed them with their webbed feet into the puddles of water they had splashed onto the floor. The ducks had a ball. By the time my father-in-law arrived at the school the ducks had been out for some time. They had tracked water and toilet paper and duck poop throughout the entire classroom. The ducks were very happy. My father-in-law was not. The mental image of those ducks running amok in that classroom has stayed with me through the years. It still makes me laugh. But I wasn't the one that had to clean it up. I don't think my father-in-law ever did see the humor though.

That is such a funny story it will keep me laughing for a long time. I can see your father-in-law's point though because the kids in the house that's still not funny all the mess they made.
