Here are just a few of my Silver line Coturnix. These guys hatched out Christmas day, so they're just under two weeks old. They look a bit rough from being kept in a smaller brooder....I just moved them to a larger wire brooder today. I've got some very interesting colors going on! The very white bird is a platinum or DF Silver, the others are silvers and silver combination mutations. I'm not exactly sure what some of them are, so if anyone knows please chime in! Can't wait for them to grow out of this awkward stage, they should be stunners in a few weeks. This line of Silvers has no pied gene which I'm thrilled about....pied is a bugger to breed out!

Took a few more pictures of the Quail this afternoon. Most of these are different than the birds in the first post, but from the same hatch. I'm having trouble identifying the Golden colored birds. They hatched out yellow with very thin grey/blue stripes. I was thinking silver Italians/Goldens?

NYONE have a guess for the mutations of the golden/silver colored Coturnix? I'm still trying to figure it out...
