So I have a weird observation; my Muscovy drake has a weird thing for the color yellow.
I have a pair of banana yellow sweat pants (don't judge me!) I sometimes wear while doing chores. Every single time I'm wearing them my drake tries to make ducklings with me, very aggressively too. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? He might be more prone to do this than most ducks because he imprinted on me. None of my other ducks pay any mind but they aren't very people friendly either...

That is hilarious. I have no idea why your drake likes the color yellow maybe it just brings out the tiger in him..My imprinted drakes goes bananas when I wear my pink gloves outside to do chores. If I try and pet on him while wearing them he goes into a biting frenzy. maybe he just doesn't seem them as hands.

It's pretty funny until I have to sprint across the yard to get away, good thing he's too fat to run very far now lol
No picture of me in these pants will ever make its way to the Internet! How about a picture of him and some ducklings he was able to make?

Is he actually the daddy to the crested? Very pretty he reminds me of my boy.

Yes he is! All three are actually crested, mom is a crested Peking although you can barely see her crest at all...and thank you!
I have never seen a crested Muscovy so the crest was dif from Mama Pekin. At least you won't have to worry about those passing on the gene since they are sterile.

Yea, I forgot that the guy who sold her to us said that she might have a crest until those three came out with little puffs on their heads. The light brown one def has some issues although I'm not sure it's from the crest or not. I don't plan on hatching any more of them anyway...
