That is what I thought also. When I candled it and discovered the problems it had, I thought "maybe I should just throw it away, it probably won't make it." But no, I feel like I should protect its life, and leave the results up to God. And who knows, it may survive.
I had a little chick hatch out of a cracked egg (membrane and all), who was broken out of the shell at day 24. I was just doing my usual end-of-hatch eggtopsy, broke open the egg and that chick was alive! The inside of the egg was full of blood and it had not even internally pipped. He survived, and even though he always had a limp, he had a good life. Had to be euthanized in the end due to severe pox, but he was the sweetest little Welsumer rooster ever. Followed me around wherever I went.
