Poultry processing in Indiana?

Hi! I've never posted here before, but I've been on this site for a few months now. I'm new to poultry. Last April, I got my child 2 ducks for Easter...and have now added 13 chickens to the flock along the way. We plan to expand our flock this spring, and eventually look to homestead as much as we can. Does anyone know of a poultry processing facility in southern or central Indiana? I am specifically looking for a place that will kill AND process initially. My goal is that if I can eat the meat I raise with no problem, then down the road I will kill myself and potentially even process. Baby steps...

But I am struggling to find a place that processes chickens. I'd even be willing to travel to the very eastern portion of Illinois or northern Kentucky. Would anyone be able to help me? And I apologize if this isn't the right forum for this post. :/ Thank you for any help offered!

Now  wishing you best with your flock.  :welcome

I'm up in the Chicago area.   There is a poultry place near me that could do all you needed done.  Fast as well.   I know its unreasonably toooooo far.

If you can't find anything closer, Tewes Poultry Farm in Erlanger, KY (just south of Cincinnati) processes other peoples birds. I am hopefully headed there this week with lots of extra cockerels. The last time I was there, it was $3.00 each for chickens. I think it was $5 for turkeys, but I haven't had any of those for over a year. Most of the time they do a great job, but I did have one batch that was overscalded. They only do processing on Thursdays and don't do other people's birds around the major turkey holidays. They have very tasty birds you can buy, too.
