chick days at TSC - what breeds normally?

I purchased 6 Khaki Campbell ducklings from TSC last year in their straight run bin and got 1 male and 5 females and I'm happy to say all 6 are still going strong. I picked up 8 Isa Brown's from TSC last weekend which is a bit earlier then I normally get chicks in the spring but they are doing well in the basement brooder. My only suggestion is where ever you get your chicks from keep them isolated from your other birds for a few weeks so in the off chance you bring something home with you it doesn't infect the whole flock.
 
Ok thanks I'm sure we will get them from rural king or tractor supply and yes I've heard of all the bad stuff about them and the chickens but this is not the right place to talk about that. We will get them next month can't wait!! I hope they all come out healthy and strong and we don't lose any while there young and we get females not males. Does anyone no about leghorns I tried to research but didn't have much time thanks for any help
 
I sent to our local TSC today just to check inventory to post here. Only one bin was marked, the RIR bin. They had 4 other breeds, but none was marked except the RIR. Probably varies store to store just how well they handle chicks.
 
Jenna I had leghorns a while back, both brown and white ones. They were very flighty and nervous birds, good layers though. And they were mean to the other chickens, we only had them that one time and prefer heavier birds for wintering over.

Thanks so much I keep on wondering if I got leghorns I would regret it and then I change my mind again and again. I'm not sure yet
 
Our hay and feed store gets tons of chinks from a hatchery every year in March they call it chick day. Huge lines of people for chicks! Tons of breeds too but for some reason the hatchery had a smaller than expected hatch rate so some breeds weren't available like easter eggers. I wanted EE but got buff orpingtons instead

I've raise EEs they are very nice and lay huge eggs well mine did anyway I love them :)
