HAHA! I know it cant be done, but we can aid them to push towards it!!

I have a 10 month old white leghorn hen that hasnt laid yet... she is a rescue bird... currently in isolation for health screening before she meets my other birds.

Not sure what else i can do besides try to make a stress free enviornment, give her oyster shell, good feed, water, and extra light... thats what we are working on at least...

That's the best plan, give her a month or so to relax and recover and settle in, glad you are giving her a better home.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.

Actually starting a thread about it often works....seriously!

Where did you 'rescue' her from?

Are you sure she's only 10 months?

How long have you had her?

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

Quoting centrarchid:

"Make every effort to understand your chicken's biology and the environment that supports it."
