Urgent: Rain on duck eggs

Ok, my duck decided to nest on the ground under a tree. And they have been laying eggs there for some time but none of the ducks have decided to sit on the eggs yet. It rained and eggs got a little wet. Now I picked them up.

Is there a chance the eggs that got slightly wet can hatch once a duck is broody?

I could be totally wrong but last year one of my chickens laid an egg in a bucket. It filled up with water over night. I took it out the next morning and put it in the frigarator. When I ate it it was totally normal. Maybe hatching is different. There is a coating on eggs that is supposed to protect the eggs so for that reason you might not want to hatch the eggs that got wet. Again I could be totally wrong. Good luck.
