thanks Popsicle..Ummm, Dutch what?  It's hard to be this stupid but he isn't one I've seen on the 8 hatchery places I go.  Maybe their picture wasn't as good.

I think the closest thing Ideal sells would probably be the light brown Dutch bantam.

ETA: though the bird in the image you provided seems more gold or cream light brown to me.  But don't take my word for it, I don't get too into the specific differences between all the colors.

Looks like a Cream Light Brown Dutch Bantam to me, somewhat hatchery-quality, but still handsome. :)

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay. --Robert Frost

thanks !  Pimp was amazing..what he killed and drove off protecting his hens. I want another as I am planning to restart chickens in early sping.  I'd like to do a few rare and heritage breeds as well as eggers.  I am sure I will have questions and yall' are so good to help.  thanks  J
