These 3 types of heaters or waterers are about all that is available, unless you use a heated bucket with poultry drinking cups or nipples. The metal base can malfunction heating the water too hot (I had to stop using one of those because the water was hot.) The heated dog bowl is what I use, but wattles can get wet. The red and white on would be a little better for large wattles, I suppose. The area where your rooster's wattles are frostbitten will eventually become rounded off after a few weeks.
