Rectal Prolapse in young chick. ***warning.......vivd photos

I'm hoping for the best too but am not optimistic.

Years ago, we had two hens prolapse and we cleaned them up and used car gut to stitch everything back into place...one stitch on each side. In both cases, the hens returned to lay and were functional for another two years. I'm just a bit fearful about the bird without stitches but again...I will hope for the best.

Yeah....I'm kinda worried about her laying eggs, but we will have to see. I wanted to do the stitches, but I wasn't sure how to do it, and I didn't wanna make it worse.
