We have had our chickens only about 6 months. It has been a long time since I have had chickens. Loving it, but have a lot to learn.

If you haven't already done so, you should visit the learning center - there are quite a number of articles there to help care for our flocks.
 
Thank you so much Sunflour :) I joined a month or so ago but life has been kind of crazy. Been trying to read what I can. Have a sick chicken atm.i will be sure to check that out too.

Sorry you have a sick hen, that should take precedence at the moment. The Learning Center is the very best place to start a poultry education. Hope you hen will recover, and you will update us. Welcome to Backyard chickens.
 
Thanks so much everyone. Glad to be here. I have asked for help for my sick hen, and started her on antibiotics again last night. I have the vet rx, vitamins & electrolytes w/ some acv in her water as well as food in the cage with her. Hoping she makes big strides with the antibiotics in her again.
