Medium size Egg-o-meter with small Silkie eggs

When using the regular egg size egg-o-meter with small Silkie eggs in a still air incubator .... do i need to adjust temp. up because bigger egg sits higher up in warmer air?    i feel i should be running it on 100.5....

   Anybody ?   Thanks~

I don't know what an egg-o-meter is, but still air should be 102.

Is the egg-o-meter the thermometer with a probe shaped like an egg? I think I'm picturing it correctly. Anyway....

I agree with gimme birdies, if you're running still air, aim for 101.5-102. If your 'bator is forced air, 99.5 will do the trick regardless of what size the eggs are. I often hatch my Silkie eggs with LF eggs, and since I measure the temp at the top of the eggs (my 'bators are still air) I set the temp for the top of the LF eggs. The Silkies almost always hatch a day early or right on time.
