Recessives and Throwbacks

Oh no that's terrible :( I really hope they show up tomorrow like nothing has happened.

Yup makes it doubly hard, especially when there are so many different elements to try and get right. All anyone can do is breed to their best interpretation of the standard.
And yup, some people seem to think just because they breed, they are the bees knees, and the sun shines from their rear end. Not to mention screwing over the new breeders, as i am not the only one that has noticed this, have talked to a couple of other people that have been mucked around, given bad advice under the disguise of 'helping' and totally put off breeding by these so called 'well reputed' breeders.

The mini is actually my fried's on semi - permanent loan, i have an octagon 20 and love it. Which reminds me, it's lockdown tonight :)
Yea, if hathing day falls on one of my days off i am pretty much attached to the incubator incase i miss something haha

Lavender color is lavender over black. When both parents have only one copy black, because black is dominant, birds are still lavender. Having one copy of wild type in both parents will theoretically 25% wild type birds, who may have lavender tail and wings, or look Isabelle color.

Will they all be isobelle? As i have a slightly older chick who is isobelle, however this one weird chick does not look to be in any way, shape or form, lavender of any kind. Brown and tan stripes, and wings coming through the same as all my other wildtypes. Have it banded so i know which one it is.
