South florida coop

New here. building a coop in south Florida. Im not a carpenter. I'm a computer programmer/ Microsoft consultant, so this will be fun. bought a bunch  tools at home depot. lets build a COOP!!

Pretty nice!

Chicken coop can be a great start to a carpentry career...well, not really, but good beginner project.

Might need more ventilation in FLA...hopefully it's in the shade all day.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!
