Unsafe foods

Thread Starter

After searching around for a decent food for my Japs following my post about it, I've settled on the old reliable chick crumbs with dried mealworms to boost the protein level.

But I'd like to add other stuff just for variation and enrichment - e.g. I scatter the mealworms about for them to forage for.  They get the odd millet spray to peck at too (although they can strip one in a day so not too often!).  I will be giving them brocolli and other veggie things to peck at too, and I'm currently browsing dried insect mixes on ebay.

My question is, in my search for entertainment for them, are there any foods that Japs should NOT have?

Raw potatoes, avacado, tomato leaves, vines, or unripe tomatoes. Any house plants with waxy leaves
