Found my Roo dead this morning. My question is how long will my two girls keep up laying fertile eggs? They lay eggs every other day and have seven on the bator all fertile just wondering how long before they start laying unfertile eggs since there will be no male.

There is some debate over how long, I think. You should be good for at least a week, possibly more...

Our flock: 2 African Geese, 16 Bantam Cochins, 12 Silkies, 11 Mixed Breed Bantams, 6 Japanese Bantams, 6 D'Uccles, 1 OEGB, 1 white crested black polish, and 1 very confused pigeon.

My silkies are between 2-3 weeks.

Some days you just have to put on the hat and remind them who they are dealing with. Release the flying monkies!
