I had to do that in our turkey coop a couple of summer ago. The door latched behind me and no one was within shouting distance. I kicked out the door and that got DH to add the extra ventilation that I had been asking for!I was going to build one but my husband bought one instead. Just the opposite on the coop. I thought buying one was smart but no... He wanted to build one. So we did and guess what just happened... I LOCKED MYSELF INTO IT A FEW MINS AGO!

Well, I'm getting roughly 2 dozen serama eggs shipped to me and they will be arriving early next week... I'm guessing I won't be eligible to participate anymore if I start hatching them this early?
Maybe I'll just get some more eggs at the end of this month.

So my little niece came to visit me today and helped me gather the eggs laid and she decides she wants to name three eggs and set them. Will they be ok being set 22 hours behind the rest? She named them "Tink", "Ali" and "Bebi". She's three

They will be fine. A day early lockdown won't hurt. I have a few staggered like that. They all are developing nicely.

Hello folks! I will be setting Black Copper Marans and, hopefully if they start laying, silver laced wyandotte eggs to hatch!
