Just wanted to say hello! Stumbled across this site the other night while looking for coop designs. When I was growing up we raised chickens and now that I have two kids of my own I'd like to build memories such as the ones I have from my childhood. It was my job to look after the flock and gather their eggs everyday. I'm sure I have much to learn with it being 30 years since I've looked after a flock.Looking forward to filling this brain of mine with a ton of knowledge. I do know that my family's intent of this is only to use these precious birds for eggs, nothing else.

Welcome to BYC. I think you will find the Learning Center makes a great refresher course in 'chickenry' - I make up my own words.
