my chicken Joe is sick and I don't know what to do his foot is swollen badly and (he's crippled) I'll put pictures up but can someone help me. and also can you use new born diapers as a chicken diaper?

sounds like bumblefoot if you do a search for that there are a lot of threads like this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/999301/emergency-bumble-foot post 10 in that thread has info
I do not have any experience with bumble foot

Look between the toes, there are glands there that can get plugged up
edit to add: have you soaked the foot?

Chickens can also get gout in their feet. Can you post any pictures?

Look up gout in chickens. It's often caused by kidney problems related to feeding too much calcium to roosters and non-laying chickens.

That looks pretty bad you might want to take it to a vet. Looks like an infection as well it must be painful. I do not know anything about gout in chickens but I had it once myself and it is painful. The vet might have a type of medication to get rid of the Crystal buildup like people are given. It doesn't hurt to check.I hope it gets better soon
