I had an appointment yesterday and while I was waiting my turn I was visiting with a man ( about chickens of course ) who told me that he so enjoyed his birds until they developed that disease ( he couldn't remember the name ) that there is no cure for except to get rid of all his birds for several years. I'm horrified, I've never heard of such a thing. Does anyone know what this terrible disease is and what might cause it and for heaven sake how do I prevent it???? Any help with this would be appreciated.
