Turns out the ice was because a prolapsed vent and her poop was sort of trickling out and freezing. No broken shells in the ice or bits of egg.
She may also have vent gleet on top of it all.
I've been bathing her each day, cleaning her bottom, wiping with witch hazel and antibiotic cream and putting the vent back. However, each day it's back out again. I've done this 3 times already. I'm starting to lose hope that it's not going to stay in.
I'm giving her yogurt, garlic, and vinegar for the possible gleet. Other than that, she's in a crate in a small room, eating small amounts.
Not laying and hasn't laid since I brought her in, which is good. (maybe).
How many times do people normally put the vent back and have it stay?
It's not bloody and gross like so many other pictures i'm seeing. I'm at a loss..
