We've had chickens for about a month now - a random assortment of birds we picked up from a local lady.
One of the birds looks pretty...raggedy, for lack of a better word. She looks sick. The belly skin is exposed and red, and she's developing these scabs on her wings. None of the other birds (15 others) have these symptoms. She's still very active. Eats normal, but is excessively thirsty. Every time we look at her, she's drinking.
Any ideas what this could be? We're thinking about culling.
