?intestines fell out of my hen please help

Hi I am posting because I went out to feed my girls tonight and my beautiful white hen had two large sacks, about the size of a golf ball each, hanging out of her behind. My husband helped me to put her out of her suffering but I am worried that she could have been ill and I may loose my other girls please help

She may have had a prolapsed vent or cloaca. It can occur from straining to lay a large egg, but it doesn't always occur with a stuck egg. Did you examine or cut open the sacks? I'm sorry for your loss.
