Have your found any Iowa Blues yet? I live in SE Iowa and know someone in the area who has Iowa Blues and she may have some chicks she will part with. Let me know if your still looking and I will ask her.
 
Welcome to BYC from a fellow Iowan with two Iowa Blues. I recently got them from a family who raises them near Center Point, Ia (just north of Cedar Rapids). If you do not find any locally, let me know and I will look to see if I still have the phone number. The pullets were very healthy. My farrier also knows a lady who raises them up in this area so maybe another source for you.
