Hello from GA

We recently sold our place in the country with 12 hens and a rooster and moved to town for a smaller place with LESS maintenance. We now find ourselves missing having chickens and are beginning to search for chicken tractor plans for 2 or 3 hens to have as town chickens.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I hope you can get some chickens again soon. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at http://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

Went without chickens for about a month before deciding we had to have more. They are addictive!

Hi welcome-byc.gif

Glad you could join the flock! I too would be missing them if I had to move. It's great news that you are able to keep a couple in your new home. As drumstick said the coop section would be a great place for you to check out for lots of fab ideas. Here is the link ~ http://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/2/Coop_Designs

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-
