My property is zoned Rural Residential 43. I've read the zoning uses for Maricopa County and found everything that has the word "residential" in the type of zoning doesn't allow roosters. Unlike back east there isn't any "agricultural" zoning and the only other type of zoning I can find is commercial for store locations. So my question is, where in Maricopa County would you be allowed to have roosters (legally)? Is the only option to apply for a variance? I don't currently have any roosters but I'd like to have one or two someday. I don't know if that would require moving out of the county or not. If anyone knows the answer I'm all ears.

Thanks, Gene
