Double-yoke Eggs

Thread Starter

Two questions:

  • If you have a double yoke egg, and you incubated it, would you get two chicks or one REALLY BIG chicks?
  • What breed of chickens of yours lay the most double-yoked eggs?

Post pictures of your eggs, and if possible answer my questions! Thanks!!!!!

Romans 3:23 – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 10:9-10 – that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

My Murray McMurray Cornish Roaster hen lays 2 to 3 doubles every month. Double eggs do not usually hatch. If there are two embryos they are crowded. If there is only one, the other part rots. Very few hatch.
