hi there! I am new to Backyard Chickens. and this is my first time enquiring :)
I have recently rescued a little chick 2 days ago (red jungle fowl) in my garden. it was relatively smaller than the rest of its siblings and was abandoned by its mum.
we have taught it how to feed. however, is unable to eat solid food and I am feeding it sugar water. it is extremely wobbly on its two feet and cannot balance well. I have just fed it and it has constantly been keeping its eyes shut. it also occasionally loses its balance and falls to its back and is unable to get up without help from me.
can you please help me?

Not sure where you are located.
Do you have access to a feed store where you can purchase chick starter feed?
If not in a pinch you can offer it a cormeal mush, mix some cornmeal with warm water where it is mushy and see if it will eat.
Sugar water is a fairly good boost, but if you can get some chick vitamins/electrolytes to put in its water that would be good too.

You would need to keep it warm. Put it in something like a large box or tupperware storage box with dry bedding. You can use a heat lamp, heating pad or light bulb to provide ONE WARM SPOT for it to go to if needed.

If you haven't done so please visit the learning center tab, there are many article about raising chicks.
